In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Gordonsville Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Smith County Owls.
The Tigers (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Upperman (Baxter, TN). The Bees come into the non-league challenge with a 7-12 record. In their last challenge, Upperman beat Jackson County (Gainesboro, TN), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Owls play the Eagleville Eagles (Eagleville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Smith County will attempt to upgrade on its 17-13 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 39-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lincoln County (Fayetteville, TN).
