The Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks defeated the visiting Middle College Cougars volleyball team by a tally of 3-1 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Sharks (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Horace Mann UCLA Community (Los Angeles, CA). The Panthers enter the Crosstown challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Horace Mann UCLA Community beat Stella High Charter Academy (Los Angeles, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Foshay Wolverines (Los Angeles, CA) in a Crosstown challenge, on Friday, October 4. Middle College will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Animo South Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA).
