The Middletown South Eagles topped the host Middletown North Lions volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Red Bank Regional Bucs (Little Silver, NJ) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 4. Middletown South will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record. The Bucs go into the game with a 1-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Howell (Farmingdale, NJ).
The Lions (1-11) will now prepare for their game against Rumson-Fair Haven (Rumson, NJ). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 5-9 record. In their last game, Rumson-Fair Haven was dropped by Wall Township (Wall, NJ), 2-0, in a league game.
