Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Newfound Regional Bears (Bristol, NH) and the visiting Sunapee Lakers (Sunapee, NH), observed Newfound Regional's volleyball team top Sunapee by a count of 3-1.

The Bears (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin (Franklin, NH). The Tornadoes enter the Division III contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Franklin was knocked off by Trinity (Manchester, NH), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Lakers meet the Trinity Pioneers (Manchester, NH) in a Division III contest, on Friday, October 4. Sunapee will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Pioneers enter the contest with a 9-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Franklin (Franklin, NH).
