The Greenbrier East Spartans smashed the host Nicholas County Grizzlies soccer team by a tally of 5-0 in Thursday's league game.
Next, the Spartans clash with the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, October 7. Greenbrier East will attempt to better on its 12-2 season record. The Flying Eagles come into the game with a 9-5 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Winfield (Winfield, WV).
The Grizzlies (11-3) will now prepare for their game against Capital (Charleston, WV). The Cougars come into the Mountain State game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, Capital was overwhelmed by Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV), 7-0, in a non-league game.
