The Big Macs go into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA).

With the defeat, Montour moves to 0-1 on the season. The Spartans host Freeport (Freeport, PA) to face the Yellowjackets in a PIHL Class A Blue test on Monday, October 13. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 1-0.
