The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) and the visiting Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA), witnessed Spotswood's football squad knock off Broadway by a tally of 28-8.

The Trailblazers (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against East Rockingham (Elkton, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, East Rockingham beat Rocktown (Harrisonburg, VA), 12-7, in a league bout.

The Gobblers now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Turner Ashby for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 9.
