In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Granby Comets football squad scored a close 12-6 triumph over the Manor Mustangs.
In their next game, the Comets play the Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers (Norfolk, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Granby will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record.
The Mustangs (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Taylor (Norfolk, VA). The Titans go into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Lake Taylor was nipped by Norcom (Portsmouth, VA), 18-8, in a non-league test.
