In Thursday's non-league outing, the host South Iredell Vikings soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Lake Norman Wildcats.
The Vikings (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Davie County (Mocksville, NC). The War Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, Davie County Statesville (Statesville, NC), 1-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, October 7. Lake Norman will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Blue Devils come into the test with a 9-5 record after their 1-0 non-league win over North Iredell (Olin, NC).
