In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Athens Drive Jaguars volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Broughton Capitals.

The Jaguars (8-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Wakefield (Raleigh, NC). The Wolverines enter the non-league challenge with a 4-13 record. In their last challenge, Wakefield was tipped by Millbrook (Raleigh, NC), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Capitals meet the Leesville Road Pride (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, October 7. Broughton will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record. The Pride go into the test with a 8-9 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Rolesville (Rolesville, NC).
