Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Reagan Raiders (Pfafftown, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Bishop McGuinness upgrades its record to 11-5 on the year. The Villains travel to Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC) to meet the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 8. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 13-1. Uwharrie Charter Academy won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC)

The Raiders now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Forsyth for a test on Tuesday, October 7. Reagan will meet a Titans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC). The Titans record now stands at 3-4.
