In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Fluvanna County Flying Flucos volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Charlottesville Black Knights.

The Flying Flucos (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Western Albemarle gained a win over Orange County (Orange, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Black Knights now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Louisa County for a non-league test on Monday, October 6. Charlottesville will face a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Lions record now stands at 8-6.
