Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) and the host Dudley Panthers (Greensboro, NC), saw Southwest Guilford's volleyball squad notch a victory over Dudley by a tally of 2-0.

The Cowboys (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 12-4 record. In their last challenge, Leadership Academy was beaten by West Stokes (King, NC), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, October 7. Dudley will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Whirlies go into the test with a 5-4 record after their 2-1 league loss to Page (Greensboro, NC).
