East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, East Surry improves its record to 13-6 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Forbush (East Bend, NC) to meet the Falcons in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 12-7.

The Greyhounds now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Wilkes for a non-league test on Monday, October 6. North Surry will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-12.
