The Monticello Mustangs volleyball squad (Charlottesville, VA), dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA)

The Lions (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights enter the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Charlottesville was knocked off by Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Mustangs battle the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 7. Monticello will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Fighting Hornets go into the battle with a 1-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA).
