In Thursday's league match, the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) volleyball team held off the host McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV), by a margin of 2-1.
The Cougars now possess a 14-3 record. They play next when they host Hug for a bout on Tuesday, October 14. Spanish Springs will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Reed (Sparks, NV). The Hawks record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, McQueen drops to 2-3 on the year.
