In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Riverside-Martin Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Pasquotank County Panthers.
The Knights (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Gates County (Gatesville, NC). The Red Barons come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last game, Gates County gained a win over Manteo (Manteo, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
The Panthers (0-9) will now prepare for their game against First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Nighthawks go into the non-league game with a 12-2 record. In their last game, First Flight gained a win over Martin County (Williamston, NC), 2-0, in a league game.
