North Carolina High School Volleyball - Southwest Onslow can't get by Pender

Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Patriots (11-7) will now prepare for their challenge against North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Scorpions come into the non-league challenge with a 6-12 record. In their last challenge, North Brunswick was nudged by Ashley (Wilmington, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Stallions face the Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC) in a test, on Tuesday, October 7. Southwest Onslow will attempt to advance on its 1-12 season record. The Titans go into the test with a 10-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC).
