In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Apex Friendship Patriots soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Panther Creek Catamounts.
The Patriots (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Falcons come into the Quad City Seven 8A test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Green Hope edged Green Level (Cary, NC), 4-2, in a league test.
The Catamounts now sport a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they host Green Level for a Quad City Seven 8A test on Tuesday, October 7. Panther Creek will clash with a Gators team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Gators record now stands at 10-4.
