Brookside Cardinals (Sheffield, OH) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer squad prevail over the host Clearview Clippers (Lorain, OH), 5-1 in a league outing.

The Cardinals (6-8) will now prepare for their outing against Firelands (Oberlin, OH). The Falcons go into the Lorain County 8 outing with a 12-2 record.

Next up, the Clippers confront the McKinley Bulldogs (Canton, OH) in a non-league test, on Monday, October 6. Clearview will attempt to advance on its 6-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 5-7 record after their 2-0 league loss to Lake (Uniontown, OH).
