The Carbondale Terriers soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Mt. Vernon Rams to 0 in the Terriers league victory on Thursday.
The Terriers now possess a 13-1 record. They play next when they travel to Marion for a South Seven bout on Tuesday, October 7. Carbondale will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Salem (Salem, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-12.
With the loss, Mt. Vernon moves to 6-7 on the year. The Rams host Highland (Highland, IL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, October 4. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 14-4. Highland won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Lebanon (Lebanon, IL)
