The Conemaugh Township Indians edged the visiting Fannett Metal soccer team by a count of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league contest.
Next, the Indians face the West Shamokin Wolves (Rural Valley, PA) in a Heritage contest, on Tuesday, October 7. Conemaugh Township will attempt to upgrade on its 10-1 season record. The Wolves enter the contest with a 8-5 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Derry (Derry, PA).
The (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against McConnellsburg (McConnellsburg, PA). The Spartans enter the Inter County - East contest with a 14-0 record. In their last challenge, McConnellsburg nudged Berlin Brothersvalley (Berlin, PA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
