The Sugar-Salem Diggers soccer squad scored 8 points and held the host Firth Cougars to 0 in the Diggers league victory on Thursday.
The Diggers now possess a 12-0 record. They play next when they host Teton for a 4A Mountain River game on Tuesday, October 7. Sugar-Salem will face a Timberwolves team coming off a 3-1 league loss to South Fremont (St. Anthony, ID). The Timberwolves record now stands at 8-1.
The Cougars (3-9) will now prepare for their game against South Fremont (St. Anthony, ID). The Cougars come into the 4A Mountain River game with a 7-5 record. In their last game, South Fremont defeated American Falls (American Falls, ID), 4-2, in a non-league game.
