Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL), 6-2 in a league test.

With the triumph, Watseka advances its record to 4-12 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL) to clash with the Fightin' Irish in a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. The Fightin' Irish come into the test with a record of 0-19. Bishop McNamara lost 8-0 in their recent league test against St. Edward (Elgin, IL)

The Raiders now have a 5-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Westville for a Vermilion Valley test on Tuesday, October 7. Iroquois West will clash with a Buffaloes team coming off a 8-1 league loss to Oakwood/Catlin (Fithian, IL). The Buffaloes record now stands at 9-7.
