The Karns City Gremlins soccer squad (Karns City, PA), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Redbank Valley Bulldogs (New Bethlehem, PA)

The Bulldogs (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney, PA). The Chucks enter the UAVSL Boys Central battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, Punxsutawney was edged by North Clarion (Tionesta, PA), 6-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Gremlins battle the Leechburg Blue Devils (Leechburg, PA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 6. Karns City will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record.
