The Indians (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeland (Minocqua, WI). The Thunderbirds go into the Great Northern outing with a 10-0 record. In their last outing, Lakeland got by Rhinelander (Rhinelander, WI), 4-1, in a league outing.

In their next game, the Hodags clash with the Medford Raiders (Medford, WI) in a Great Northern test, on Tuesday, October 7. Rhinelander will attempt to advance on its 0-11 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 1-10 record after their 2-1 league win over Antigo (Antigo, WI).
