In Thursday's league outing, the host Telluride Miners soccer squad scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Ridgway Demons.

The Miners (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Gunnison (Gunnison, CO). The Cowboys go into the 2A Western Slope - South outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Gunnison was overwhelmed by Crested Butte (Crested Butte, CO), 6-1, in a league test.

The Demons now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Moffat County for a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. Ridgway will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Rifle (Rifle, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-5.
