Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they observed their softball squad top the visiting Richmond Spartans (Richmond, MO), 15-0 in a non-league outing.

The Trojans now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Platte Valley co-op [South Nodaway/Jefferson] for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 4. Carrollton will encounter a team coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Albany (Albany, MO). The record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Richmond drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Holden (Holden, MO) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 9-4. Holden won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Lafayette County (Higginsville, MO)
