Georgia High School Softball - Etowah bounces Wheeler

October 2, 2025: Marietta, GA 30068

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Etowah Eagles softball team scored a nice 16-0 victory over the Wheeler Wildcats.

The Eagles (13-11) will now prepare for their match against Walton (Marietta, GA). The Raiders enter the 6A Region 5 game with a 15-9 record. In their last game, Walton was routed by Kell (Marietta, GA), 6-5, in a non-league game.

The Wildcats now hold a 3-20 record. They play next when they host North Cobb for a 6A Region 5 game on Tuesday, October 7. Wheeler will play a Warriors squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to North Paulding (Dallas, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 18-7.
