Fort Gibson Tigers (Fort Gibson, OK) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Eufaula Ironheads (Eufaula, OK), 8-6 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Fort Gibson upgrades its record to 24-8 on the year.
The Ironheads now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Claremore for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 7. Eufaula will confront a Zebras team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Bishop Kelley (Tulsa, OK). The Zebras record now stands at 20-13.
