South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their softball team run past the visiting Osborne Cardinals (Marietta, GA), 19-11 in a league match.

The Eagles (7-15) will now prepare for their match against Campbell (Smyrna, GA). The Spartans come into the 6A Region 3 match with a 9-13 record. In their last match, Campbell was routed by Paulding County (Dallas, GA), 6-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Paulding County Patriots (Dallas, GA) in a 6A Region 3 match, on Monday, October 6. Osborne will attempt to better on its 4-14 season record. The Patriots come into the match with a 13-11 record after their 6-3 league win over Campbell (Smyrna, GA).
