In Thursday's league match, the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the host A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Ragin' Bulls confront the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, October 6. Hickory Ridge will attempt to move on its 16-5 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 14-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC).

The Wonders (11-9) will now prepare for their match against Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Chargers enter the Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A bout with a 19-0 record. In their last bout, Cox Mill defeated West Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 3-0, in a league bout.
