Florida High School Volleyball - Haines City can't get by Avon Park

Avon Park Red Devils (Avon Park, FL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Haines City Hornets (Haines City, FL), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Avon Park improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to Sebring (Sebring, FL) to meet the Blue Streaks in a non-league challenge on Monday, October 6. The Blue Streaks come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Sebring lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against DeSoto County (Arcadia, FL)

The Hornets now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frostproof for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. Haines City will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Haines City (Haines City, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-6.
