In Thursday's league challenge, the host Curlew Cougars volleyball team scored a 4-1 triumph over the Columbia Lions.
The Cougars (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WA). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, Bridgeport lost by Liberty Bell (Winthrop, WA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Lions play the Inchelium Hornets (Inchelium, WA) in a 1B Northeast game, on Saturday, October 4. Columbia will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Hornets go into the game with a 0-8 record after their 5-0 league loss to Republic (Republic, WA).
