With the win, Corbin improves its record to 18-9 on the season. The Redhounds host Pulaski County (Somerset, KY) to encounter the Maroons in a non-league battle on Monday, October 6. The Maroons go into the battle with a record of 13-8. Pulaski County won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Garrard County (Lancaster, KY)

The Colonels now own a 22-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Williamsburg for a District 50 contest on Tuesday, October 7. Whitley County will meet a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over McCreary Central (Stearns, KY). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 16-11.
