In Thursday's league challenge, the host Notre Dame Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons.

The Tigers (16-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Notre Dame (San Jose, CA). The Regents enter the West Bay - Foothill challenge with a 3-15 record. In their last challenge, Notre Dame was beaten by Menlo School (Atherton, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Gryphons meet the Drew Dragons (San Francisco, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, October 3. Crystal Springs Uplands will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Dragons go into the test with a 2-9 record after their 3-0 league win over San Francisco Waldorf (San Francisco, CA).
