In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Daviess County Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Hancock County Hornets.
The Panthers (16-9) will now prepare for their challenge against North Bullitt (Shepherdsville, KY). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, North Bullitt went down by Bethlehem (Bardstown, KY), 3-1, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now sport a 5-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Apollo for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7.
