The Desert Vista Thunder volleyball squad (Phoenix, AZ), dropped 3-1 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Sunnyslope Vikings (Phoenix, AZ)

With the win, Sunnyslope improves its record to 16-7 on the season. The Vikings travel to Ironwood (Glendale, AZ) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, October 10. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 10-7.

The Thunder now own a 14-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Millennium for a 6A - Central battle on Thursday, October 16.
