In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Rudyard Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Engadine Eagles.

The Bulldogs (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Newberry (Newberry, MI). The Indians go into the Eastern Upper Peninsula test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Newberry gained a win over Cedarville (Cedarville, MI), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now sport a 0-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Ignace for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. Engadine will face a Saints squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Harbor Springs (Harbor Springs, MI). The Saints record now stands at 16-5.
