California High School Volleyball - St. Bernard's over Ferndale

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the St. Bernard's Crusaders (Eureka, CA) and the visiting Ferndale Wildcats (Ferndale, CA), observed St. Bernard's's volleyball team top Ferndale by a count of 3-0.

The Crusaders (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against McKinleyville (McKinleyville, CA). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 5-11 record. In their last battle, McKinleyville dropped by Arcata (Arcata, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Wildcats now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hoopa Valley for a Humboldt - Del Norte - Little 7 battle on Tuesday, October 7. Ferndale will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to South Fork (Miranda, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 3-18.
