High School Volleyball - Varsity Opponent crushed by Foxfire

In Thursday's league battle, the Foxfire Phoenix (Zanesville, OH) volleyball squad toppled the host Varsity Opponent (, ), by a score of 3-0.
With the win, Foxfire improves its record to 3-10 on the season. The Phoenix host Cristo Rey (Columbus, OH) to encounter the Cougar in a United battle on Tuesday, October 7. The Cougar go into the battle with a record of 6-8.
The now own a 190-488 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coastal Christian HomeSchool for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 2. Varsity Opponent will encounter a Badgers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Science and Tech (Corpus Christi, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 10-4.
