The Franklin Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Sheldon Huskies to 0 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now possess a 16-8 record. They play next when they host Monterey Trail for a Delta League outing on Tuesday, October 7. Franklin will play a Mustangs team coming off a 3-1 league win over Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-7.
The Huskies (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA). The Cardinals enter the Delta League game with a 9-9 record. In their last game, Laguna Creek was dropped by Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
