North Carolina High School Volleyball - Franklin over Smoky Mountain

The Franklin Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Smoky Mountain Mustangs to 0 in the Panthers league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now have a 22-2 record. They play next when they host West Henderson for a Mountain Eight 4A/5A outing on Monday, October 6. Franklin will face a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 21-5.

The Mustangs (12-9) will now prepare for their game against North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Knights go into the Mountain Eight 4A/5A game with a 10-19 record. In their last game, North Henderson went down by West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
