North Carolina High School Volleyball - Franklinton over Vance County

In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Franklinton Red Rams volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Vance County Vipers.

The Red Rams (14-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Knightdale (Knightdale, NC). The Knights enter the Northern Six 6A/7A challenge with a 4-16 record.

Next, the Vipers meet the Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC) in a Northern Six 6A/7A challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Vance County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Heritage (Wake Forest, NC).
