The Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles topped the visiting Gilbert Christian Knights volleyball team by a margin of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Eagles now possess a 25-6 record. They take the field next when they host Red Rock for a 2A - Central game on Thursday, October 9.

The Knights (22-6) will now prepare for their game against Bourgade Catholic (Phoenix, AZ). The Golden Eagles enter the 3A - Metro game with a 4-10 record. In their last game, Bourgade Catholic was dropped by San Tan Foothills (Queen Creek, AZ), 1-0, in a league game.
