The Orestimba Warriors (Newman, CA) volleyball overcame the visiting Gustine Reds (Gustine, CA), 3-1 in Thursday's non-league contest.
The Warriors (11-14) will now prepare for their contest against Sonora (Sonora, CA). The Wildcats enter the Trans Valley League battle with a 14-2 record. In their last battle, Sonora achieved victory over Escalon (Escalon, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Reds now own a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mariposa County for a Southern League battle on Monday, October 6. Gustine will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Delhi (Delhi, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 20-7.
