Mississippi High School Volleyball - Purvis can't hold off Hancock

In Thursday's non-league match, the Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Purvis Tornadoes (Purvis, MS), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Hawks battle the Jim Hill Tigers (Jackson, MS) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, October 7. Hancock will attempt to move on its 26-8 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 6-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to George County (Lucedale, MS).

The Tornadoes now own a 30-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brookhaven for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 7. Purvis will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to North Pike (Summit, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 7-17.
