The Highland Hornets (Medina, OH) volleyball were victorious over the visiting Roosevelt Rough Riders (Kent, OH), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Hornets now possess a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Revere for a Suburban-American bout on Tuesday, October 7. Highland will clash with a Minutemen team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Lutheran West (Rocky River, OH). The Minutemen record now stands at 15-4.

With the loss, Roosevelt drops to 6-11 on the campaign. The Rough riders travel to Coventry (Akron, OH) to clash with the Comets in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 4. The Comets come into the bout with a record of 12-5. Coventry won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Springfield (Akron, OH)
