In Thursday's league challenge, the host Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Immanuel Christian Warriors.

The Wolves (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Alexandria, VA). The Saints enter the ISL challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, St. Stephen's & St. Agnes was defeated by Elizabeth Seton (Bladensburg, MD), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Warriors now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fredericksburg Christian for a Virginia Christian Athletic test on Monday, October 6. Immanuel Christian will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Seton (Manassas, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 16-1.
