Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Newburyport over Ipswich

In Thursday's league test, the visiting Newburyport Clippers volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Ipswich Tigers.

With the win, Newburyport advances its record to 11-3 on the season. The Clippers travel to Georgetown (Georgetown, MA) to face the Royals in a Cape Ann test on Tuesday, October 7. The Royals go into the test with a record of 3-8. Georgetown lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Whittier RVT (Haverhill, MA)

The Tigers now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lynnfield for a Cape Ann challenge on Tuesday, October 7. Ipswich will play a Pioneers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over North Andover (North Andover, MA). The Pioneers record now stands at 11-2.
